CA Internet Security Suite Plus 2010 Review

CA Internet Security Suite is one of the highest rated and most effective all-in-one pc protection suites available earning them many awards every year!  CA or Computer Associates has been around for many years which has given them the advantage and knowledge to make available this great piece of software over their competitors.

The CA Internet Security Suite Plus 2010 includes all the necessary tools to protect your computer from viruses, spyware, hackers, harmful websites, worms and other Internet threats that other security suites overlook and lack.

But there more to this great suite than just total computer protection.  It includes additional tools that will keep your computer and family safe such as anti-spam which blocks those annoying pop-ups and junk mail saving your computer from vulnerable viruses which can be attached.

Also it gives you control over what is accessed on your computer with the built in Internet filter.  This feature alone costs as much as $97 through other products!  With the internet filter, you can block inappropriate websites through URL’s and/or categories, set what times the Internet can be used and view what sites were accessed.

CA Internet Security Suite also offers a data migration tool that allows you to easily transfer files to another computer.  Also, all updates to the software are automatic so you know you always have the latest protection from viruses and other threats.

Conclusion: The software itself is rather a large file, but it runs very efficient and in the background unnoticed and not disturbing other programs or causing the computer to freeze up like many others.  BUT, we recommend that you NEVER have 2 or more anti-virus programs installed at the same time as this WILL cause your computer to freeze up.  If you install CA Internet Security Suite Plus 2010, be sure to uninstall any other anti-virus software tools you have installed.

All aspects of the software work very well.  Surprisingly, even the Internet filtering tool works well although it did block some sites that should not have been blocked although we have found this flaw in just about every filter we tried.
